M.W. Pro Grand Master of Mark Master Masons to Retire

With a heavy heart the M.W. Pro Grand Master, Benjamin Addy, announced on 12 March that he will be retiring after the June investiture meeting of Mark Master Masons to be held in Great Queen Street, London.

He has served the order of Mark Master Masonry as a ruler for over twenty four years and Pro Grand Master for three years.

He announced that his successor as Pro Grand Master would be the R.W.Bro. Richard Victor Wallis, JP, our current Deputy Grand Master, and that our current Assistant Grand Master, R.W.Bro. H. Keith Emmerson will replace him as the new Deputy Grand Master. Finally, R.W.Bro. Raymond John Smith, President of the M.B.F., will become the new Assistant Grand Master.

I am sure that you will all wish the M.W. Pro Grand Master, Benjamin Addy, a long, happy and healthy retirement and offer your hearty congratulations to all of those who have been promoted to higher ranks.

R.W.Bro. Paul W. Tarrant, Grand Secretary
