A Milestone for a stalwart of Bronte Mark Lodge

Bronte Mark Lodge was full on Monday 25th October 2010. The Meeting was held to celebrate a Mark Masonic milestone for one of its stalwart members, W. Bro. Deryk Moore, who was the guest of honour. Many of his old friends were there with the Provincial Grand Master, R.W. Bro. James Bennett Truswell and a Provincial team, to mark the completion of W. Bro. Deryk’s 50th year in Mark Masonry.

The Provincial Grand Master took W. Bro. Deryk back to the time he joined the Mark Order in a light-hearted trip down memory lane and then asked W. Bro Alan Oldfield, the Provincial Grand Secretary, to read out the letter of congratulations from Grand Lodge. The Grand and Provincial Grand Lodge 50th Anniversary Certificates were then presented to W Bro Deryk, following which the Provincial Grand Master thanked W. Bro. Deryk for his past service to both Bronte Lodge and the Province, which was acclaimed all present.

The evening was concluded with a jovial Festive Board.

Here’s wishing you good health Deryk and thanks for all you have done in West Yorkshire.
